Accounting Specialist

Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc. has a direct hire opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in our Farmington Hills, MI. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills and general ledger and accounts payable experience.

    Duties Include:
  • Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Month end close responsibilities
  • Special projects as needed
    Requirements:
    EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
    EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 years or more of accounting experience is required
  • Must have both general ledger and accounts payable experience
    SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines is essential in this fast paced environment
