A good example of Hino's commitment to safety is found in the basic design of the cabs of our trucks. The design and construction of our steel cabs provide exceptional protection for the driver. Visibility is another important safety feature. The unique sloped design of Hino truck hoods, combined with the large size of the windshields, provides optimal visibility for the driver. When our customers get behind the wheel of our trucks they experience advanced safety performance that comes from years of technological innovation.

Hino Motors Manufacturing USA, Inc. strives to be a leader in providing a safe work environment for all employees, vendors, and visitors to our facilities. We use OSHA regulations as a starting point and go one step further to create a work environment that incorporates ongoing safety awareness as a critical component in the improvement of our processes and procedures. HMMUSA designs, constructs and operates its facilities in a manner that protects employees. Each employee has a personal responsibility for accident prevention; not only for himself/herself but for co-workers as well. By providing personal protective equipment, in-depth training, and organizing employee/management safety groups, our goal is to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control all hazards to prevent accidents from occurring at HMMUSA.
